General WÅ‚adysÅ‚aw Sikorski

The Polish Veterans of Oshawa decided to name their organization after him because of his successful leadership and his with excellent character and morale.

Władysław Sikorski combined all that was best in the Polish Nation. He understood not only his own people, but he also envisaged the the future of the world as well.

His leadership qualities easily found  him support in carrying out his ideas, and in making many friends amongst politicians of all parties.
Władysław Sikorski bequeathed much to those he left behind, and the fact that Poland's name became famous during the war was largely due to him.
